Percentage Anti Dive Front - Percentage Anti Dive Front is the angle at which the suspension of a vehicle is designed to resist downward movement during hard braking.
Percentage Front Braking - Percentage Front Braking is the proportion of braking force applied to the front wheels of a vehicle in an independent suspension system.
Side View Swing Arm Height - (Measured in Meter) - Side View Swing Arm Height is the vertical distance from the wheel center to the upper pivot point of the swing arm in an independent suspension system.
Side View Swing Arm Length - (Measured in Meter) - Side View Swing Arm Length is the distance from the axis of the coil spring to the axis of the wheel in an independent suspension system.
Height of CG above Road - (Measured in Meter) - Height of CG above Road is the vertical distance from the road surface to the centre of gravity of a vehicle's sprung mass.
STEP 1: Convert Input(s) to Base Unit
Percentage Anti Dive Front: 2.7 --> No Conversion Required
Percentage Front Braking: 60 --> No Conversion Required
Side View Swing Arm Height: 200 Millimeter --> 0.2 Meter (Check conversion here)
Side View Swing Arm Length: 600 Millimeter --> 0.6 Meter (Check conversion here)
Height of CG above Road: 10000 Millimeter --> 10 Meter (Check conversion here)
STEP 2: Evaluate Formula
Substituting Input Values in Formula
b = %ADf/((%Bf)*(SVSAh/SVSAl)/(h)) --> 2.7/((60)*(0.2/0.6)/(10))
Evaluating ... ...
b = 1.35
STEP 3: Convert Result to Output's Unit
1.35 Meter -->1350 Millimeter (Check conversion here)
FINAL ANSWER
1350 Millimeter <-- Wheelbase of Vehicle

How is Anti Dive Geometry Useful?

When a car is under braking conditions, the braking force acts directly through the centre of gravity and causes the car to rotate. Anti-dive geometry prevents the car from diving on the brakes and stops the front wheels from deflecting vertically or going into bump due to braking conditions. Similarly to anti-squat geometry, the percentage of anti-dive that the car has is based upon side view swing arm length and height, wheelbase and centre of gravity height. If the car has 100% anti-dive then no compression of the front suspension due to braking forces will occur at all. If the percentage is lower than 100% then some compression will occur due to braking forces and will increase as the percentage gets smaller.
