What is Hollow Cuboid?
In geometry, a cuboid is basically a rectangular box with three different types of edges length, breadth and height. If two cuboids of different size in which the edges are proportional, are placed in such a way that one inside another and the geometric center of both of them coincide each other, the resulting shape is called the Hollow Cuboid. The reason why it called as hollow is, from the volume of outer cuboid, the part of inner cuboid is removed and that much portion are kept as hollow. Only the portion in between the surfaces of inner and outer cuboids, contains the volume of the shape. If exactly any one of the edges become equal for both inner and outer cuboids, then the resulting shape will be a hollow rectangular prism.
