What type of winding is used in a transformer?
In core type, we wrap the primary, and secondary windings on the outside limbs, and in shell type, we place the primary and secondary windings on the inner limbs. We use concentric type windings in core type transformer. We place a low voltage winding near the core. However, to reduce leakage reactance, windings can be interlaced.
How to Calculate Equivalent Reactance from Secondary Side given Equivalent Impedance?
Equivalent Reactance from Secondary Side given Equivalent Impedance calculator uses Equivalent Reactance from Secondary = sqrt(Equivalent Impedance from Secondary^2-Equivalent Resistance from Secondary^2) to calculate the Equivalent Reactance from Secondary, The Equivalent Reactance from Secondary Side given Equivalent Impedance formula is defined as Reactance of Primary winding in Secondary and secondary winding reactance. Equivalent Reactance from Secondary is denoted by X02 symbol.
How to calculate Equivalent Reactance from Secondary Side given Equivalent Impedance using this online calculator? To use this online calculator for Equivalent Reactance from Secondary Side given Equivalent Impedance, enter Equivalent Impedance from Secondary (Z02) & Equivalent Resistance from Secondary (R02) and hit the calculate button. Here is how the Equivalent Reactance from Secondary Side given Equivalent Impedance calculation can be explained with given input values -> 2.276291 = sqrt(51.84^2-51.79^2).
